MAUREEN CLEARY

I am a passionate native of County Clare who loves to explore, discover and enjoy, together with my family, the wide variety of fabulous attractions and assets that Ireland has to offer as a tourism destination.  I am an able and experienced marketeer with significant tourism industry experience.

Today, I successfully run a freelance marketing, branding and promotion business –Marketing & More. I am a consummate professional with a vast range of experience working with companies to help them achieve their marketing goals in order to create value and sustainable businesses.

Before setting up Marketing & More I spent almost ten years as the Marketing Executive for Clare Tourism representing all sectors of the Clare tourism industry both nationally and internationally.

​

I’m passionate about brands, and possess the know-how to create great brands and make them grow.  I’ve been lucky to work with a variety of clients, and I’ve learned something new from each of them. Recent clients include Doolin Cave, Monks Ballyvaughan and Tour de Burren.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Hons. degree majoring in marketing along with many professional development courses and Diplomas in Digital Marketing and Project Management.  In addition to my work, I make an effort to stay relevant in my field by regularly attending conferences and workshops, and that's how I strive to make sure my clients get the best results in a constantly evolving world.
